It is fed with compressed air from the main compressor or, as is advisable, from a smaller oil-free compressor.
It has several stages of separation and filtering.
When compressed air is fed, it passes through
a pressure regulator that normally reduces it from 7bar to 2 bar. Next, there is a first separation of the pollutants that are removed by expansion
and cyclonic separation.
After this, the air passes through the filter cartridge which, through successive filtering stages, removes the particles and aerosols of water and oil. It also deodorizes the air through the
effect of activated carbon.
